We chose this location as an inspiring setting for learning and discovering, for viewing living history and encountering the wonders of coastal life. Activities include netting marine life in the salt marsh, crabbing, and exploring how the banker ponies can live on a barrier island. The 15 minute ride out to the island takes you through the crystal clear waters of Core Sound.
